our site. We are the student ensemble dedicated to promoting the
Polish folklore through high-quality performance of Polish
folk songs and dances in USA and abroad.

Ensemble is the dance ensemble of the PRCUA,
the oldest and one of the largest Polish American fraternal
organizations. Polonia Ensemble is a representative group of the
Northwest Center Traditional Polish Folk Dancers, non-profit
organization, incorporated in the State of Illinois

Ensemble has been honored to perform for the Pope John Paul II
twice, in Castel Gandolfo in July of 1998 and during His
Holiness historic visit to the Holy Land in March of 2000.

Course, Lublin, Poland This summer the
five Polonia Ensemble dancers have attended the 37th
Choreographers' intensive Course in Polish Folk Dances
organized by University of Maria Curie-Sklodowska in Lublin
and Senate of the Republic of Poland. Congratulations to our
instructors - Ania Majka, Pawel Truchan and Marcin Komaniecki on their
graduation.

Polonia Ensemble European Tour
France and Poland
Polonia Ensemble traveled to Poland to participate in XV
International Folk Dance Festival in Rzeszow.
Polonia Ensemble was part of festival, which
featured 43 groups from 16 countries. This festival is
organized under
the patronage of “Wspolnota Polska” Its goal was to
engage young people of Polish descent in preserving Polish
traditions and culture and to encourage learning Polish
customs through beautiful traditional songs and dances
