2005 - Polonia Ensemble was awarded "Grand Prix" of Euro Folk – Losenez 2005 in the category Youth Ensembles.

For over 20 years, the Northwest Center Traditional Polish Folk Dancers of Chicago has been preserving and promoting Polish culture in the USA and abroad. In the beautiful Bulgarian scenario, the young dancers of the representative group, Polonia, dynamically performed impressive collections of authentic Polish folk dances and songs. They filled the stage and the audience with an aura of essential Polish folklore. Now, let the music begin. Set yourself into the mood of stunning grace and unique performances, filled with beautiful whirling colors of handmade costumes, and the melodic tune of the Polish culture.

Polonia Ensemble participated in CIOFF FESTIVAL FOLCLÓRICO de Ibaque, Tolima Department. Our concert tour will start in region of Ibague, followed by Cartagena and Bogota.

Polonia Ensemble traveled to Poland to be part of the XIV International Folk Dance Festival in Rzeszow. Polonia Ensemble was delighted to be part of festival, which featured 45 groups from 16 countries. This festival was under the patronage of “Wspolnota Polska” Its goal was to engage young people of Polish descent in preserving Polish traditions and culture and to encourage learning Polish customs through beautiful traditional songs and dances
